Clients! Lets talk about the difference between the two terms FINE and THIN. The term Fine refers to the type of texture not the degree of density. When new clients sit in my chair we consult before starting any other process. One of the biggest misconceptions is a client thinking their hair is thin when it is really fine. Remember thinness simply means you have less density than most, or than you should have. Fine hair means your texture is softer than most, or essentially it is not Coarse and is less Kinky. |

Often times we want a certain look. With all the weaves, extensions, coloring, etc... we are in love with diversity and change. We feel like when we look better we feel better, and our entire attitude alters. It's no secret that a new hair style can promote a new attitude. However what some stylists try to get across can be seen as a negative but should not be. Haircare is most important and should always be number one. The only problem is, sometimes you have to compromise on the exact look until the goal is reached. |
